11 Years Ago Today

December 7, 2006

Eleven years ago today I had the fortune of seeing one of the best Phish shows I’ve ever seen. It was only my second show and I braved the snowy roads by myself to drive up to Niagara Falls to catch it. The show was general admission and I got up about 10-15 feet from the stage right in front of Trey. In honor of that night I’m listening to the show again today. I hope Phish someday releases this as a soundboard.

Sleep needed and a Nintendo Wii wouldn’t hurt either…

December 6, 2006

Michael’s gotten into a routine of waking up crying during the night for no apparent reason. Last night he was up at 3:23. Picked him up, rocked him for a couple minutes and put him back in his crib. He went right back to sleep. Myself, I’m exhausted now. Got up at 5:00 to start up the fire and stumbled around through my morning routines.

Wal*Mart announced that they were having a new shipment of Nintendo Wiis this morning at 8:00 (I called the store and they said they’d have 25 available). Prospective buyers could get tickets at 7am. I drove by at 6:30 (silly mii) and there were already 100 people standing out in the cold. Looks like wii’ll be waiting until after Christmas.
