SI.com – MLB – Hawk attacks student at Fenway – Friday April 4, 2008 8:33AM:
Was I the only one who thought this article might have something to do with Andre Dawson?
Once again, an A-Rod got an unfriendly welcome from the home of Red Sox Nation. This time, it was 13-year-old Alexa Rodriguez and not the Yankees All-Star third baseman Alex Rodriguez. She was touring Fenway Park on a school trip Thursday and was attacked by a resident red-tailed hawk that drew blood from her scalp. Rodriguez wasn’t seriously hurt.

CNN Political Ticker: All politics, all the time Blog Archive – Poll: Clinton, Obama tied in Indiana « – Blogs from CNN.com:
A new statewide poll in Indiana shows a statistical dead heat between Sens. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama ahead of the state’s May 6 primary. The poll, conducted from March 31 through April 2 by Research 2000, shows 49 percent of the likely Democratic voters would favor Clinton and 46 percent would favor Obama if the states primary were held today. With the polls margin of error of plus or minus 5 percentage points, the two candidates are statistically tied.
Good news for Obama. He’s continuing to make gains in PA and NC looks like it might be a landslide for him. Given Hillary’s stubborness so far, IN will probably be the next battleground as I blogged about the other day.

So I’m off work as of today. I’m not sure how long I’ll be out; probably at least through next Tuesday when I am seeing an orthopedic doctor for evaluation and possible MRI.
Back and legs are sore this morning. Slept alright (on my back with two pillows under my knees). Going to try and move around as much as I feel like to keep from getting too stiff. Yesterday evening I just shuffled back and forth down the hall for 10 minutes
